Olivia Ravenel

Postpartum Doula & Newborn Care Specialist
Credentials:  DONA International, Healthy Children's Project Lactation Counselor, Postpartum Support International

Olivia’s goal is simple: to empower parents with knowledge, compassion, and practical support as they grow into their roles with confidence.

Olivia is a certified Postpartum Doula and Newborn Care Specialist with extensive experience supporting families during the early weeks and months of parenthood. She has worked with over 125 families, offering evidence-based guidance in newborn care, feeding, sleep routines, and postpartum recovery. In addition to her doula certification from DONA International, Olivia has received specialized training in lactation counseling through the Healthy Children’s Project and perinatal mental health through Postpartum Support International.

She is currently completing her nursing prerequisites with the goal of becoming an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), deepening her commitment to maternal and infant health. Olivia is passionate about supporting families from all backgrounds and cultures, and she brings a calm, nonjudgmental presence to every home she enters.

Her approach is personalized, collaborative, and rooted in respect for each family’s unique values and needs. One of her greatest joys is helping new parents build confidence in caring for their babies—focusing on areas such as infant feeding, nutrition, sleep safety, and bonding. She also brings years of experience working with toddlers and school-aged children as a nanny, lead teacher, and daycare assistant. This background makes her especially skilled in helping older siblings adjust to their new role as big brothers or sisters and in creating developmentally appropriate activities for children of all ages.
